Very sorry if this has already been asked, I did search for it.

Just want to ak, with all the effort with tactics people make, when a new match with tweaks to the match engine due out soon, will all these tactics no longer be as effective?

I know you can't tell as yet, but judging from previous FMs like 06 and 07, did the final patch change which tactics were effective from pre patch?

Well I think a lot of the main gurus on here, such as Cleon,wwfan and Rashidi have been testing the new patch, so they know what to expect.

Certainly wwfan mentioned over on FM Britain that his latest tactic set had been tested with the new patch and worked even better on the new patch.

When the new patch is released, one of two things will happen:

If you have a well thought out tactic .... it will work even better in the new patch.

Equally however, if you are relying on patched up loopholes or exploits in the engine, you'll have to find a new tactic.

The patch that is released at this time each year tends to make a big difference to the enjoyment of the game due to bug fixes and a few tweaks to the engine that do make a big difference over the course of a season.

But you'll tend to find that a well constructed tactic will be much more effective after the patch is released. That is my experience anyway.

My latest tactic I posted in the Play My Game Project works fine with the patch, infact slightly better actually

Since I'm doing ok with pretty much the standard set of tactics, then all it sounds good!
