could always ask for more, if the board says no then give an ultimatum, beware the sack though!!!!

Otherwise sell squad players or even 1 big name player(Trezeguet?) to raise funds to build the squad. Strikers are easy to replace in my opinion.

sell him, he's a w*nker. Do you have an Asian or American feeder club? Maybe try asking for a feeder club if not & if you get the option of a Chinese, Japanese, South Korean or American take it. That will boost finances due to merchandising.
