started a game as crystal palace on ORIGIONAL GAME!!!

the only players i got in in first season was...

gareth bale
eddie johnson
doudin (surprised me!)

was expexting to gain promotion, but then i did something i didnt expect to do in my first season in charge, i won the FA Cup!!

so now my dilema is who to buy now im up and apparantly qualified for europe because of the shock win!

i have 7m ish to spend and any suggestions are welcome, here are a few i was thinking of...

on your list pennant and cisse would be great loans. But if a french club goes in for cisse he will go to them.

Wouldnt recomend adu overrated imo.

If Veron is free(I think he should be) then he is still very capable,as is Crespo.
Look for Hangeland in defence(or DM, wins all the GK long kicks),excellent for my Fiorentina side(got into CL despite points reduction). He plays at Copenhagen and should be in the Norway squad.
Can I also highly recommend Motherwell's DC McLean(forget 1st name) superb in my Rangers game home and abroad.

I got Peter Mate on a free at the end of first season iirc, he's a pretty solid CB & will get you some goals from corners too :thup:

If all else fails then you could just keep saving and reloading like you did to win the FA cup in the first place :p

IMO Adu is well worth the money, I signed him at the start of season 2 and pretty much played him every game,he came on leaps and bounds. If not,Romaric did well for me too, he plays in France somehehere, might be free as well.

heres what i need, hopefully you can suggest some players, or say if the ones ive stated will do well...

a solid centre back, prefably young and british to partner darren ward, who if i have enough money i would like to replace.


a quick young decent right back that can also get forward.


left winger, prefably quick and able to take people on.

maybe a good centre mid, as back up/first 11

only have kuqi, eddie johnson and doudin up top, so maybe new striker, may sell kuqi for funds.

oh yer forgot to mention, in this save, real madrid allways offer me woodgate for 1m. so obviously i try and agree a contract, however he turns it down even thought im offering good wages and bonuses. any way of persuading him to come?? and tricks?
