I just signed rafinha from schalke and although he's joined my team, he doesn't have a work permit and therefore cannot play!? I don't want him to be sat around not playing until he gets one (incidentally, how do i go about re-applying when he's more likely to get one?). The transfer window has closed so not sure if this means i can't loan out??
i think the size of the club matters.happened to me before when i signed bogdan shust (great gk) for united and got a work permit, tho when i treid to sign him for newcastle it failed, regardless of offering him key player status etc

i signed a young brazilian once and he had no WP, so i was about to loan him out to celtic and i realised that he had to re apply for a WP to go there, he was issued with a temp permit to approve the loan so i cancelled the loan deal at the last minute and my player had his WP
