I'm currently playing as Roma, and I bought Vincenzo Iaquinta to play up front with Francesco Totti and they've played brilliant together.

BTW Francesco Tavano is a super sub for me, scores whenever he's brought on from the bench.

how much did you pay for laquinta as im after him and have no idea of how much to offer because no matter wot my scouts say they get it wrong.

falcao is a very good player u should get him but u have to watch out he get's injury quite alot

I got him in the January transfer window for £10m. Was willing to pay that for a big strong striker due to a lack of strength up front for my team - Vucinic was poor every time I gave him a chance.

Alternatively you can do a Co-Ownership deal, whilst their complicated they are an extremely useful tool, in the same window I signed Cristian Zaccardo for £4m Co-Ownership, and at the end of the season managed to buy out the other 50% of his contract for just £1,000!

Roma seems to make a profit every month so don't worry about shelling out that much cash.

I've only just started as Roma too so I'll give you a bit of info about what I did.

Bought:
Dessena
Smith - Needed a TM for my tactic and he works so well with fast players next to him.
Corluka and Drenthe - Roma need full backs, its highest priority imo. I got these two fairly cheap. Beware, Corluka takes up your 1 non-eu spot!

Sold:
Perrotta
Brighi
Nonda - None of these three were needed after I brought in the players I did.
Some youngsters.

Loaned In (my favourite part ):
Shaun Wright-Philips
Jan Schlaudraff
Ryan Babel.

Such good loans, and I didnt have to pay a penny for them.

Watch out for Ibrahimovich against Inter btw, him and Crespo are bloody mental together.

Good signings Sheps, however I wouldn't have sold Simone Perrotta, he was awesome for me when I required somebody to step into the breech anywhere over the midfield, and was probabbly one of my better performers. Impressive considering I had him earmarked for being sold at the beginning.
