Default Who to manage...

Can anybody reccomend a team in a good league with plenty of competition that is on the verge of great things. I don't like being massive teams I am arsenal and are considering starting a new game as In all honesty I'm struggling. I would like a team in the champions league with a good squad but could do with a few decent players. Also I'd need a few million budget???

Any suggestions.

Mate i would seriously think about the red and black half of milan as they are in every compitition have a good but ageing squad so it is fun and a little tricky to get rid of the older playerss and bring in younger ones. it is the most enjoable game in my opinion join us in the milan thread were we will give you expert advice. plus you have the challange of Knocking Inter off thier high F***ing pearch.

Ajax have a good squad, decent funds, excellent youth facilities and start in the Champs league.

Dinamo Kiev also have a decent squad and good finances

Or you could try a team from Portugal and bring in Brazilian youngsters.

Problem is, is that the leagues tend to be pretty easy if you control a European side from a 'minor' country such as Ukraine. A Uefa cup side might be more fun is you choose to go down this route

Sir frosinone thanks for the idea and for the invite but I was thinking a little smaller. It does sound like a good challenge maybe one for the future.

Skinnymalinky Ajax and Dinamo Kiev sound v interesting. I think your right a good team with competition in the champs league but a smaller league is a contradiction isn't it.

Ajax are my fave suggestion so far thanks any way Jaw Kam. Does anybody no if Willem II are capable of growing???

How about a good Uefa team then.

Lyon don't have a problem winning the Champions league if you bring in the right sort of players. I have won the CL with Lyon, and look on course to do it again this year

Hmmm maybe Lyon are a little too big then.
How about Benfica, Seville or Monaco. Has anybody experience with these clubs? Who's the second biggest team in the fpl to see if I could tople Lyon?
