Anyone every give this club a good run for it's money?

I've just sick of my current game with Palermo, thinking about starting a new one with AEK.
Just seems like an interesting challenging team, try and bring it back to it's glory days. Expecting a though challenge but...

Just looking to see if anyone knows what budget you get, good/bad players, what calibre of players you can attract etc...

They've got Rivaldo.

That's the end of my knowledge, but he'd be immense first season.

Cheers Mike, they also have Mohamed Kallon which seems like a decent player...
Rivaldo is 35y.o. so you're right, he would only be good for a season or two at most... Dunno what stats he has in fm08 though.

Hopefully I can snap up the usual Torje, Stancu and perhaps another few youngsters. I'd imagine they won't have much of a transfer kitty, so I plan to sign youngsters which I can sell on for profit after the first season...
Hopefully I can get Sotiris Ninis, if I'm lucky

Dunno what leagues to load... Need to plan this out hehe!

They finished 2nd in the greek league in 07/08 season so they should be playing some qualifying for champions league...
