What are your best methods for unsettling high profile players?
I'm trying to sign Silva from Valencia in my Man Yoo game. He has a reasonable release clause so the fee isn't too much of a problem. But whenever I scout him, the report states that he has 'no intention' of joining me.
I've kissed his arse throughout the season to the extent that I am now listed as his favourite personnel, but there is still no change. I've expressed interest in him and its always resulted in him dismissing it. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could do?
Also, what techniques do you use to unsettle targets in general?
Make a huge bid for him and once they accept he will become unhappy that the club is accepting bids for him. Do this a few times then he will become interested.
