I'm playing on a database which has a nice generous transfer budget to go in line with the money people believe Keegan will get in the Summer. I've let a few players go and managed to build the following first team:

GK: Given

DR: Pasanen
DL: Lescott
DC: Taylor
DC: Delpierre

DM: Tymoschuk

MR: Milner/Barnes
ML: Duff/N'zogbia
MC: Lorik Cana

AM: Modric

SC: Owen

I've played 2 games and after losing to Wigan and Evertan I switched to the above tactic from a 4-4-1-1. With the above tactic I managed to beat Arsenal 2 - 0 so my season is back on track.

When it gets to January where do you think I should strengthen or do you think its just a matter of letting it gel as I have quite a young team overall?

Have you still got Martins? He's better than Owen

I've played as Newcastle quite a few times over the years and Im really not a fan of martins. I find he is really inconsistant for me. Milan offered 12m plus an extra 3m in clauses so I accepted it.

i'd have kept martins he was the epl player of the year in my first season with alan smith coming in 2nd place n'zogbia was u21 player of the year, try gettin samba from blackburn he was a consistent player for my team

I usually sell Martins, apart from pace, his finishing isnt very good, as he has a low composure rating.

na his pace means he's top assister in my game and he scores because he is fast as well a really fast thing

I sold N'Zogbia and Milner to Arsenal after the first season for 17.5m and 14m. Emre to Bolton for 8m. Bought Bentley to replace Milner and Di Maria to replace Zog but no one to replace Emre

Bought Breno and Bale and they are looking very promising. I'm looking for a creative AMC who would be willing to join my revolution. Currently using this young brazilian named Alex who could be the next Ronaldinho apparently, but he just got injured and now I have to use Smith there or change to a 4-3-3. Mr.Barton is a madman when it comes to picking up bookings and I have his tackling set to normal... I bouth Piatti but sent him on loan.

Any recommendations for AMCs? and not the obvious ones of Aguero b/c there is no chance in hell he would want to join
