So as I mentioned before I'm looking at starting my first LLM challenge when CM4 comes out. I've read many times how Rushden is an off-limits club when it comes to LLM challenges - are there any others that fit into this category? I imagine that Hull City have just joined this small club.
Btw, the reason I'm waiting until CM4 to start my first game is that I know my way thoroughly round CM01/02 and all its tactics and good players. With CM4 the game and database are completely re-written so it should be a pure experience, I'm hoping - that way if LLM isn't for me I can move back to how I used to play it, and no-one can accuse me of cheating as it'll be most-likely my first game on CM4. Hope that made sense...

The only club that is not taken to be a challenge is R&D. The rest are fine.
Most of us don't consider D3 to be enough of a challenge - however, it is a good place to start.

Rushden is fine for a 1st time LLM game. We just would say that the achievement isn't the same as with some of the others. But 1st time, anything in Div 3 is fine.

That's what I thought. Seeing as Rochdale haven't been out of D3 since the reign of George IV, I think I might give them a go.

Rushden are quite ok for a first-time LLMer. Updates will be yawned at and probably slagged, but they're ok to cut your LLM teeth on.
Then you start real LLM

Try Boston United, hopefully starting on -4 points?
I wouldn't pick Hull - loads of money, loads of fans, massive new stadium.
End of the day Graham, it's your choice. Alternatively, I could make a list, you choose a number and that's your team! Getting complicated now. |

If i was starting up a game in Division 3...I would go for a team like Rochdale aswell or even someone like Lincoln City.

Scunthorpe's one of the Teams it's ok to use the editor on to change the colour, even if you're not visually impaired.
Gives me a headache playing against them
