I've seen multiple references to some other (vague) way of advancing through the years without going on holiday and waiting 4 days while the computer shuffles along to 2006. IS there truly another way? If so, please advise. I'd like to get one more run with a new LL team before CM4, but I'd like to avoid starting in 01/02 for the umpteenth time with the same selection of bottom feeding teams. I want a fresh batch of bottom feeders!

THe only way i can think of to get past the start of the season at least, except demo mode, which takes ages, is to put in sweden (there are a few other countries) and put them as the starting season. This will get you pas halfway of the season, but that's it.

In earlier versions there was an option to avoid having to play the match yourself wasn't there???

or you could just start a game with randomly generated players. it would have the same effect as evolving 30 years or so

yeah, mostly I'd like to get some new, random teams to try out...but I guess I'll do the standard resign and run the game overnight/while at work deal. Thanks for your help. Maybe CM4 will have some sort of option for this...that'd be interesting.

I can't see SI programming something like that into the game, it just wouldn't make sense for them. They introduced the random player option, and there's the resign and let the game run option as well.

They have to cater for the majority, and the majority want to play their favourite Teams and Favourite players from the start.

Or they could make a: 'fantasy manager'

where the players are actually goblins and beasts. Ulrika would be a naughty dragon and Mariella would be a paladin...

And maybe we could choose wether we'd play golden goal or the save the princess rule!
