Good news... especially for those with lower end PC specs is that apparently you can turn on and off leagues in CM4, so if you get sacked from say Italy and fancy managing in Spain, turn off Italy, turn on Spain!

I think (though not sure) that this is confirmed, and I'm not sure if this applies at any time, or more likely either set points in the calendar year or end of season.

Surely that must be like the foreground and background option they have now?

I mean, if you only load up the Home Countries, where would the data for the Italian Leagues come from?

I think that could easily corrupt a saved game when you tried to move to a league you had "turned off" previously. What's it going to do, go back and compute all the fixtures for the seasons it was OOC? Yikes. I see a lot of potential for errors there.

*Vaguely* remember hearing this - but not sure. Let's hope so though, cos it'd be a great thing for those of us who play the 'long-term' save games.

Like I said, I'm not certain this is in. How I see it happening is that you select your leagues at the start (foreground, background whatever), then at a given date, you are given the option of changing your settings to foreground/background/off. It would be different dates for different leagues, given that the seasons run at different times.

It would be great if it is in. I'll say again, I do not know for sure if it is.

Guess we may know in the next magazine?

Will go check the CM4 thread... I think that is where I saw it before...

Can't see it in the top threads. I'm not searching through 212 pages and rather stupidly, someone has got rid of the find feature on the board, so I can't search for it. Bloody hell, the one time in CM when the find function is allowable and it's not bloody there!

I certainly hope this is allowed. It annoys the hell out of me playing only one league, but playing a few annoys the hell out of me as well.

'Find' feature is next to the 'new' tab Nobby.
