I think people who've seen my games know I like to play the careerist. It's rare I don't get the message from the board about looking for other jobs. To which I say, too bad for them. LOL. IMHO, as long as I do my bit to improve the long-term stability of the club after I'm gone, I feel no qualms hitting the "resign" button every 4-5 years.

I do tend to try and stay at one club (which I am not sucessful at) unless I feel I can't take the club any further.

I tend to jump about a bit, but only when I feel like the other challenge is more interesting. That usually means that I will change countries when I change jobs.

At times I have received this message monthly. They never seem to do much about it though.

I take a club as far as I can, but if I feel I am stagnating I do look for a job at a bigger club.
The exception to this is I always accept the Stoke job... if I apply for it. They are my local league team after all, so alliances lie there.

But hey, I was at Barnet for 15 seasons in an early CM (pre Conference days). See what happens in CM4.
