I've had two save games going for a while, both LLM of course. The only reason I bother is that I like to play different leagues, and my computer's too slow to have all of them loaded at once.
A few of the regulars in here admit to a slightly shady past regarding the LLM rules, but once you see the light, why go back in the dark?

Somone said it earlier, How can you be a LLaMa if you're starting a new game with a premiership club. |

Graham,
To be honest, I still indulge in challenges and such on other forums. I don't mention those games here, obviously, and I refuse to allow any 'knowledge' I gain from the challenge to affect my LLM games. If the games are separate, and you don't start sending scouts to scout the players you found in your other game, I think you're OK. Obviously, as Muss said, this does leave the door open for potential abuse. So, as we used to say in the Navy, "Let your conscience be your guide." I'd say if you can't keep yourself from cheating at a computer game, you have more serious issues than what we think.
Note, that's if you can't KEEP yourself from cheating, not if you choose to. I'm not opening that can of worms. LOL.

I manage two teams in one game - Billericay and Northern Ireland. But that is with one manager, having 'earned' (I think nobody else applied) the Irish post.
Have yet to have a fixture clash, but I've only played 2 games with Ireland. Not sure what I'll do if/when it happens. Can't be in two places at once can I?
As for Graham, I know you are serious about joining LLM, but I personally don't think you should run a Villa and a LLM game at the same time. It would be a case of Jekyll & Hyde. Maybe you should play your Villa game a bit first then come and join us? Maybe I should move Northern Ireland to Essex... wouldn't have any political violence then. |

lol what a debate good for keeping me away from the homework, i dunno about having 2 games going at once, ive recently converted to LLM but if i follow that in the strictest sense of the way i cannot manage my beloved Reading and i jsut know i can get the best outta Rolland The Rat even if Pardew can't. But still i do see the potential for crossover its going to be a real dilemma, love of club vs Cm ethics, oh well it will be CM4 so its a happy decision either way i guess

RT,
I understand your sentiment, but I don't look at it the same wya. Indeed, I play LLM and challenges for the same reason--I'm a competitive Type A personality.
LLM represents the ultimate test I can put before myself. So I play my games that way. But Challenges are fun for me because they are as close as I can get to pitting my skills against another human being. Do I know the other person is doing things I don't do when I take a challenge? Yep, sure do. But guess what, when I kick his tail, I love it. It isn't a matter of "turning it on and off." It's a matter of taking the test of my abilities. And being a competitor by nature, that's a pretty hard thing to turn down.
It isn't that hard for me to data dump the stuff fro mthe other game. Like I said, if I can't keep my conscience clean playing a computer game, I've got a lot more serious issues than what you poofs thing of me. LOL.

Once you start playing the LLM way you will wonder why you ever bothered playing any other way.

I find it a bit strange how I'm playing more now than ever before. Maybe it's a combination of CM4 coming soon and I have my first worthwhile thread going, despite me LLMing for ages. The only exception could be when I started as Stoke in Division 2. |
