but the find function is for players on the shortlist so thats ok... but then i wouldnt go through lists of teams i suppose. not now anyway!

Players on your shortlist can be viewed with a click on their name. No need for the "Find" function.

Isn't find the same as player search? As I know it, when you do a player search or find it only does ths for players on the short list.

... and isn't finding players on your short list allowed? That's what it is isn't it? A list of players that you know about and therefore are allowed to search it!

No, find can be used to find anyone in the game. Anyway, if they are on your short list, why do you need to use find in the first place.
I don't mean to seem rude, but some of your questions are getting very close to questioning the ethics of LLM, so tread very carefully.

Maybe he can't get to grips with the shortlist on the game and uses a piece of paper - in which case, he would be better off doing this :
1) Unplug PC
2) Find the old box the PC came in
3) Pack said PC in the box
4) Address the box to the manufacturers.
5) Write note stating "I am too stupid to use a PC"
6) Mail box and note to manufacturer
