I become clean shaven every alternate day. Unfortunately, my head is doing it's best to catch up. Baldness sucks. |

I'm about to give my head and face a #1  Nightshift tonight, and longish hair and a beard are not conducive to good nightshifts.

Explanation:
#1, a close cut with clippers, nearly a shave but leaving an eigth of an inch of hair.
Nightshift, at weekends, mean dealing with drunks, junkies, low-lifes and various other groups who find it acceptable to assault Public Servants. Having no hair leaves less for them to grab at.

I got the #1 bit (tend to stick with a #2 myself  ), it was after that i got lost!
Thanks for the explanation. That's why i'm glad that even though i work for the NHS, i work well away from the frontline. The only low lifes i see work in my office |
