The 1st division is awash with foreigners in my game, sure are some in div 2 too!

When will my lads overcome thier primal fear of Johnny foriegner and be able to make that leap into the unknown?

In the 1st div. maybe?

I'd agree with Muss, I don't really buy a lot of foreigners until I'm ready to make the promotion push to the top-flight.

I'm in div1 with scunny but the foriegn office still won't allow my lads to go on a "European Vacation."

Same here, but I've found that as most of the AI managers don't believe in SWYCT, then I have been able to pick up some good overseas players from the British Isles - I actually found a Swiss international defender playing at Dumbarton in my current save.

Very true, I have found one or two, a couple of Africans grace my team, when they are not off on endless international fixtures.

The only league I buy African players in is France, because they tend to schedule Feb as a light month, so you usually only miss your Africans for 2 matches, maybe less, if they play for someone who gets trounced. I know people gripe about CONCACAF, but at least Copa America is in closed season (if they get invited to go to that at all) and Gold Cup is only a couple weeks.
