If we opened up picture requests, i'm sure we'd attract a 1000 or so leechers. Already there are people with 0 posts, posting in the pic request section asking for pics without reading the rules.

Have you not seen the available resources? Have you not seen the tutorialsection?

And don't we commment on sigs and walls? doesn't that count?

@ plp: Well, I don't have anything to add. Re-reading what you've written I came to the conclusion that you certainly could've acted differently and friendlier. I haven't even though to refer to your position as a mod b/c I didn't even notice you were one. Say how you want it and what you want but don't ask for repect if you come across like that.

@ Niran: I'm not sayin the board hasn't anything to offer. Some of the members are acting very sensitive about their stuff as I said already. I'm aiming at criticizing the way people handle direct requests. That doesn't apply generally, but there are tendencies. Of course c + c counts and all the tutorials, but basically I can't see the sense of prohibiting requests. Nobody forces you to help, but maybe there are some persons who don want to help even if it's about a direct request.
