Here's hoping the PC holds together. And that I don't get sacked.

Leagues loaded: England (incl. Conference), Ireland, Scotland, Germany (incl. Regionaliga), Australia, USA, Japan.

The club: Vent Foret Kofu. J-League2. Play in J-League2's smallest stadium (but a 10,000 all-seater)

Expectations: Improve the squad

As might be expected, running a J-League club is an experience in crap. But the season has been going much better than the board expected. A downslide, but we've finally snapped a losing run of 5 matches. At the halfway point of the season and it looks like Urawa Reds are going to win the league, barring a collapse in form.

Made it to the 2nd round of the Japanese Cup, dispatching AlbireX in the 1st round, falling to Bellmare 2-1 on aggregate.

LOL @ the poofs in my thread.

Oh, and....WAHGERTY!11

Got things turned around thanks to 2 loan players (a DLC I slotted at DL and a D/MLC I slotted in the midfield). Briefly dropped as low as 4th, but stopped the rot. Won promotion to J-League1 with 3 matches to spare. Better: did it at home with a 4-2 win over our Sagan, who were 3rd in the table.

Urawa Reds clinched promotion and the title the same day, about 6 weeks from the end.

Board apparently saw this coming as a couple days before the victory that sealed our promotion, they injected 975 million yen (that's about 6.5 million pounds ) "for purchase of players." Already dipped into 200 million yen to buy the loaned in D/MLC and a MC whose relegation release clause was 20 million less than his actual value. Busy preparing now for the end-of-season Emperor's Cup. We're drawn away against non-league side Shinmane in the 1st round.

Dealing in yen is a whole new experience. Just as an example, a certain former England captain was sold from Newcastle to Chelsea for 1.3 billion yen.
