The way I see it is that I'm playing as kind of a short term manager, take over a club in relegation trouble - guide to safety or not as the case was with wimbledon rebuild - then leave and find another club in danger of slipping a division. I have to say it is adding a nice twist to LLM before CM4. I'm just wondering how many seasons I can go without winning any major trophys

It just wasn't happening, no matter what I tried, it just didn't work. We had all the hallmarks of a side destined for relegation - failure to take chances, conceding late goal and more importantly the innability to beat sides around us

Still I can't let this little bit of failure get me down so I look to the future - I have managed to sign some very very good players for next season, mostly signed from Spanish, German and Dutch clubs although I do have a couple of decent young players coming in from English clubs. The future bodes well I no I can turn this place around.

But, the most important thing of all, I hope they went down playing attractive football...
<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

Attractive, flowing football is the only way I play and it will continue as long as I can sign the right players to play it, and I can say for certain the players joining in the summer are much better than many of the current crop.

We've also just pulled off a major coup. A striker who was a former England captain got released by Newcastle and I've managed to sign him as a player/coach - hes still on form, he got 29 goals last season and by the looks of things there are plenty more to come

The wonder-kid is no longer with the club, Bologna came in with a very tasty offer and I accepted. He has been replaced by a young Dutch striker from Twente who has hit 45 goals in his last two seasons, I have high hopes for him

Since the end of last season I have raised £30.5M from the sale of 11 players, but we still have a large squad after a massive influx of talent in the summer.

The board want us to aim for Promotion and thats exactly what I want too, with the squad we have at the moment we should finish top two, provided people stay free from injuries.
