Well i've been in charge of Wimbledon for exactly one year now, the relegation caused me to really look at the squad and saw 14 players leave the club for a combined total of around £6million.
This helped relieve some of the debt the club were in and gave me a little spending money to play with, sadly most of this was taken up with paying off some major earners and paying the wages of the current squad, however it didn't stop me bringing in a total of 20 players in who all joined the squad for a total fee of just £35k. Sound business indeed
The best of the bunch so far are the Italian striker who has hit 24 goals in 25 games since joining on a bosman from Monaco, a Northern Irish centre back who arrived from Preston and a Bosnian/Austrian right back who arrived from Hibs.
We are doing well in the league and despite a few poor performances we have really hit a good vein of form recently to drive us into second spot...

...the league form has in part been completely overshadowed by our cup exploits however. Having beaten York City 4-2 at home in the first round of the League Cup we found ourselves with the daunting prospect of Premiership Spurs at home in the Second, a 1-1 draw followed as we took them to penalties winning 4-2 as our keeper pulled off two saves. After Spurs we got Chelsea, another Premiership side and another home tie. This time a 2-2 draw was the outcome and again penalties had to decide it, we again ran out winners holding our nerve to scrape through 3-2 after sudden death. So onto the forth round, yep another Premiership side - Sunderland, this time away, same outcome though 2-2 draw followed by a penalty shoot-out. We won 4-3 this time again after sudden death to set up a mouthwatering derby tie with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
We are also still in the FA Cup after defeating Torquay.
