Not "to play FM", no. But I did have a very enjoyable save-game going when injury prevented me from working. And of course, I'm likely to play a bit if I stay home sick.

Coincidentally, I snapped my fibula (leg) in two places the day this came out.
6 weeks off work anyway. At least.
Season 6 with Burscough pending.

Of course I have
Not for FM08 though :thdn: But I have a week left that I have to take before the new year, so hopefully once the patch is out the game will warrant some serious attention |

I have in the past usually to coincide with the release of FM, but not done it for a couple of years now. I'll also add it was Holidays and not sick leave.

I've never taken time off proper work to play FM, but I did make the rather silly decision to try and type up some of my PhD thesis from the "more relaxed" atmosphere of my home PC rather than getting stressed trying to do it in my office.
Needless to say, my decision to add to that "relaxed" atmosphere by having CM open so I could take short breaks from my work to play the odd game basically turned into me taking very short breaks from CM to do a miniscule amount of my PhD thesis!

Yep, I've taken 2 days off sick for FM05.
And CM3 (01/02) was definately responsible for human resources at one company having a meeting with me about the number of mondays I had off.
Me and my old flat mate also both blame CM3 for directly contributing to the break up of one of our relationships. My girlfriend's greatest quote was: "It's difficult having a relationship with the back of someone's head!". Little did she know I'd just snapped up Tonton Zola Moukoko !
