I have been conceding an extraordinary amount of last minute goals, it seems every time i lose game on FM08 which is pretty regularly its down to last minute goals, this has happened across my last 3 saves now (Vicenza, QPR/Salamanca and Crystal Palace)
Now i realise conceding last minute goals is a regular occurrence irl, however seemingly to get a result you have to change your WHOLE footballing philosophy in the final minutes just to hang onto a 1-1 draw. Whereas the AI seemingly just quickly changes to 4-2-4 and they are constantly on the attack and you never get a look in at all, not one highlight. I know you say, "well you only remember the times that you lose in the last minutes and not win" i realise this and i genuinely can count on one hand the amount of times, i've scored with the last kick of the game but I would need 10 hands to count how many goals i've conceded like that. I feel that the opposition strikers of any team you play get 10 times better whilst my players get 10 times worse.
ps. I have tried many things, to make this work. all out defense, all out attack, keep things the same, slightly more defensive etc.
How do you set up your team's creative freedom nellinho?
If setting all sliders to the left (apart from time wasting) NEVER keeps out the 4-2-4 there must be something intrinsically wrong with your setup. Unless you're Spurs of course, who're just crap.
Before the patch, I did concede 4 goals starting from 87th min to the end of game (93th), from 3-0 lead down to 4-3 lost. I was lazy to switch tactics, but still AI 4-2-4 could be such miracle!
That did happen in 07 too, but when patches came out, such phenomenon is gone.
