I'm rather disgusted at the ambition of my board, too ... I've been promoted to BSP and finished the first season in a "resepectable league position." They come out with a new four-year plan which will rwquire me to finish "in a respectable league position" in BSP.

Heck, by the end of my four year plan, I except to be challenging for promotion out out League 2 ...

yeh,
i was managing roma for first 2 seaosns, they expected me to challenge but i won 2 straight seasons, until a new board came in they had the proper ambition but i got sacked. their expectation was tooooo high. they wanted final,final,win,win,win ummm....right. unreasonable.

Won promotion on first season (08)

Next 5 years my board only expected my team to enjoy premier while it lasts, even when my team always end like 8th-3rd.

Then I started to pick "mid table" from the list, and it worked! 2 more seasons and board now expect "safe mid table".

Of course now Im picking "top half"
