Just finished my first season as Tottenham manager, and had the chance to win the league. I beat Liverpool and Arsenal 2-1 then drew to both Blackburn and Sunderland. What is the closest finish you have had in a game?

goal difference with Man Utd on FM07, i was newcastle. Won the league on the last day of the season by 2 goals lol, then that first league win just snowballed into more trophies over the seasons

Keegan would LOVE IT, yes LOVE it if that happened.....

It always seems like the league goes down the wire, only had one exception where it hasnt.

Whenever X needs to beat Y with X needing to draw for me to get promoted, always seem to miss out too!

i was thinkin the exact same thing when it happened lol. being a die-har newcastle fan, i loved it lol.

I really hope king kev can turn us around

On goal difference. Playing as Man U, tied on points with Arsenal , one game to go, same goal diff.

I beat Sheff U at Old Trafford 9-0 whilst Arsenal could only manage a home win 4-2.
