Im just wandering whether anyone has run into severe debt, not been sacked as result but been deducted points but the FA? Or has anyone who has brought a non-league club through to the premier league, over the years, but was denied promotion in one season as their stadium and grounds were not suitable for that division. It has happened before the former has happened a hell of alot more than the latter but has anyone had this happened to them?
Never Seen The Points Deduction But I Have Seen The Rejection To Enter League Happen In Norway When Rosenborg II Came Top They Wernt Allowed To Go Up Because The First Team Were IN The Division Above
Sorry to disappoint chas and norville but i meant IRL. I think stevenage borough of the BSP were denied promotion about 11 years ago due to thier ground being too small for laegaue 2 football. Sorry

Same happened to Falkirk about 7/8 years ago when they were in division 1. They never had a big enough stadium to get promoted to the SPL which meant that even though Aberdeen finished bottom that season they survived to stay in the SPL. iirc it twice happened to Falkirk and twice been denied promotion
