THere isnt any way you can just score in this game. It either happens or it doesnt.

The best way to help is to change your strikers training schedules to have them concntrate more on shooting. That help me out when my strikers stopped scoring.

The shots to goals ratio issue has been mentioned SO many times.

Its just an issue with the game im afraid, can understand how frustrating it is though.

I think that with my footballing ability, i would probably take 100 shots to score, bit like andy cole.

The ratio is a combination of things - but mainly a statistic and little else.

If a realistic proportion of shots went in, the games would be 10-6, 20-14, 32-0, and people here would complain about that.

There are so many shots because the highlights would be limited to 4 or 5 clips, and people would complain about that.

If the shots went wide instead of being saved, people would complain about that.

There IS a problem with the ratios but there are many ways around it.

I've used the same tactics for three different games now from FM06.

Nothing wrong with the tactics anyway, If my team can manage 22 shots I would expect 1 to go in at least.

Note that one of the reasons there are especially high numbers of shots on goal is due to the number of long shots. This will be toned down in the forthcoming patch - according to SI.

im tired of this too im playng as hsv in the german league and im having the same problem.
i think i will go back to fm07 or cheat and win every game.......

It's not perfect by any means but try creating a tactic which doesn't dominate games so easily. The problem is the amount of chances being made, not the goals/shots ratio.
