Hey everyone!!

I'm currently manager of Aston Villa and am looking to extend my scouting knowledge. I have a few scouts with high knowledge of countries, eg. Bosnia, Croatia and Australia but i cannot send them to that country to find good players from there!

Any ideas??

What are your funds like?
Some times the chairman refuses to send out Scouts to other nations as it costs them money, sometimes you have to stick it out local, go to the confidence and see if you have any restrictions.

Funds are very good, just had £5million added to my transfer budget 'as a result of my vastly improving finnaces'! I currently have £38 million in the bank and have no restrictions in place!

It's the size of your database; the bigger the database, the more specific countries you have to scout. The huge option has the most, naturally.

Otherwise, you have to send your scouts to the region of where that country is.

You need to scout the regions those countrys are in instead.

The scouts may not report with any players with the remote regions but what you will find is more players from those regions will show up in the standard player search function. When you search there it doesnt show a list of every player in the game it only shows every player your club has knowledge of. Selecting that and then filtering the nation eg. Bosnia will then give you better options and you can request scout reports in that way.
