Now I'm left with an extra 12mil which I don't need since my transfer budget is already 90mil. With my top player gone, my season is going downhill... This chairman thing has to be reprogrammed or taken out of the game, because to me the chairman is just too stupid.

This really does need fixing. I currently have a game with Man Utd in 2013. I have spent nothing net on transfers since the start of the game and my transfer budget has slowly increased year after year.
At the start of the latest season I was given 150M to spend witha wage budget almost 2M above what it currently stood at. Tottenham make an offer of 20M for a utility player Dor Malul who happily sits on the bench and makes 40+ sub appearances a season.
The board decide it's too good to refuse and except, even though there is almost 300M in the account. If I was in debt I could understand, if it was used to pay off some of the loan debt I could understand but where does the money go? Straight into the transfer kitty.
There is nobody in the game who could replace him and even if there was you would pay more than I got.
