A new feature this year but I've not read much about it.

Anybody know the pros and cons of having smaller or larger pitches.

I.e. if I play short passing is it best to have a big pitch?

If I play a high tempo is it best to have a small pitch?

Any ideas?????

An obvious one here, but I don't use wingers, so it makes sense to play with a narrow pitch for me. Direct balls are ideal on longer pitches. Just think about how you like your players to pass the ball, and who would benefit from short/long/wide/narrow pitches.

your ass man will tell you when you chose whether to change the dimention of your pitch.

one thing he says is be careful i fyou have a small pitch because players will have to work harder to find space.

I think so.

Mind you if you have good technical players the lack of space may work to your advantage?

i play with short, slow passing, deep defence & no closing down on my large pitch and it works better than high tempo & direct passing. although high tempo seems to work much better away from home, regardless of the opposition pitch size.

I had an awful home record with two different clubs so I decided to increase the pitch size to maximum (I play wide with wingers). Lo and behold, my home form improved markedly. Trouble is my fantastic away form went to pot...
