So i get Southampton promoted and due various reasons-the usual stuff like shots on goal/goals ratio, AI cracking my tactics every 10 games, massive difficulty compared to previous FM's -i am pulling my hair out. Please help me;

Does anyone know when the new patch will be released, im going to wait to start my 100% longterm game til then.

Any ive only ever played with the league im playing loaded up. I really want to play with several leagues loaded, but have a pretty average machine. Could i load a handful up and still enjoy a pretty quick game, or would it go through loading every league's matches taking half an hour a matchday?!?!

For problem "1" I'd ask the guys in the tactics forums, give some details on what tactics(formation, tempo, passing style etc etc) you use, or no-one will be able to help.

The patch has no release date, but I'm sure a while back Miles(I think, but definetely some one at SI) said it will most likely be March before its release.

Not too sure what you mean by average, but as long as it isn't a never upgraded "low end" machine I'd suggest no more than 6 divisions at a time as a rough estimate(though some more details on your system would help). I usually run around 8-10 on a brand new MacBook and its very quick.

For tactics, have a look in the tactics & training fourm, lots of useful advice in there.

Dont know when the patch is out, (maybee 2-4 weeks)

my laptop is avreage spec, and i can run 8 leagues no problem and it is fairly quick, evan though FM suggests i run only three leagues, so you should be able to run about 5-8 leagues ok.
