Well, in that case, I dont know. Ive never really been bothered about my assistant manager. Once they leave their on their own to find a job.

The only thing you can do to is to release him and hope he'll get picked up as a manager or wait and see will someone sign him from you...

Hey rude boy, maybe if you give him a new short-term contract, it might entice clubs to poach him. In general though, it rarely happens.

If he's world class why would you want to? I suppose in real life if you got on really well with him you'd like to see him move on, but I never like it in the game. But hey, each to his own.

Best way I can see of doing it would be for you to move on into another job. They may well promote him. But it's a big MAY.

Do his stats promote him as being a reputable manager as well as a world class ass. manager? How good is his skill at management, that will give a good indication on any job role he might be offered.

Just keep playing and winning things. Eventually teams will start poaching managers from the ranks of your coaching staff.
