I'm not sure this is a bug therefore i have posted in the general forum.

Why is it in the Spanish leagues, when i sign a player from Chile, that they always gain nationality within a few weeks? Considering i am limited to just 3 players in the squad being non-EU (only 1 or 2 in the second tier and none in the lower divisions) i find myself constantly signing Chileans to beat the rule.

Is this a bug or for real? It doesnt seem to work for other south american imports.

Must be a bug - as far as i'm aware there is no special rule for chile - worth posting this in the bugs forum.

don't know about chile itself but south american players only need two years to gain citizenship iirc.
