Registering players for Eu nationality

I'm playing with Barceona. I have 3 non- eu players.
Banega Aguero and Toure.

But Toure is eligible for Belgian nationality and Aguero is eligible for Spanish nationality.

But how do i get them registered for that nationality?

There's no way to force them.
Maybe they will choose to become EU nationals.
Maybe they won't.

wouldn't it make sense for them to immediatly accept such nationality as it would help their club out?

it would make sense if players who were considering an EU nationality agreed to do so as soon as they sign for your club.
