This is getting silly now... I seem to concede waaaay too many goals via deflections to be realistic. What could it be, tactics (like a tactic can stop the ball being attracted to a defender and then flying into the net at least once every other match) or is the game engine just, well, a bit crap?

I get quite a bit deflections, but mostly is from freekicks. It's not that excessive, but a bit much I agree...

Every free kick that is scored for or against me is deflected off the wall. anyone else find this?

Frank Lampards goals are around 90%* deflected IRL

I mostly score/concede deflected free kicks.
