My first game on 08, Ipswich (Me) Vs Hull.

Half-time and things looked grim as i trailed 4-0, but i somehow pulled it out of the bag and was unlucky to go away with a 5-5 draw

Facing Real Madrid in the Bernabeu is never fun, especially if you are hot favourites to go down. Fast forward and Ryan Bertrand (yes, shut up, he's my best penalty taker) gives me an early lead (wholly undeserved). It's then time to close up shop as Real Madrid start flinging bodies forward and I opt to lock down people (kind of hard, because I didn't have a defensive midfielder at the time, so I went and used 5 defenders instead).

After about 40 minutes of hanging on for dear life, 4 minutes of absolute madness meant Real Madrid were down to 7 men (they had used all their substitutes). I went straight back into attacking to kill off the game until I realised Real Madrid's 7 men were still better than my 11 and they started getting a lot of long shots on target. Still, put them under enough pressure to keep the ball away from my goalkeeper for a famous win.

I think it was Sergio Ramos who revealed Capello was furious with his players at half-time (understandably). Real Madrid went on to have a fairly-long streak of losses while I bagged enough early points to make safety a lot easier.

It wasn't exciting for goals.. The highlight of my FM career

FA Cup 2007/08 5th Round - Liverpool v Yeading Town

But damn it was tense, and especially with the Liverpool v Havant game this year it was even better!

That's some game there. Who ever said this game wasn't realistic </BLOCKQUOTE>
The number of times we were in danger of throwing the game away was unbelievable, only to score again, concede again, etc.

 </BLOCKQUOTE>

What a game.!
