Have been very intrested in getting skins,face/kitpacks and new background pictures for my FM game but don't have the slightest clue as to how i would get them onto my games?

Was just wondering if any1 could take the time to explain how i would go around getting these things into my games? And do they only work if you go the desired team E.G Download Arsenal facepack can only see it if you select Arsenal to manage? and so on.

Would apreciate any help at all because really have no understanding as to what to do thanks.

You can download them for free from various websites, sortitoutsi.net are one (there should be plenty of links to others in various threads and in the scene forum). [DO NOT buy them from ebay].

Download them to an easy to get to location (desktop, my documents).

After they have downloaded, unzip/rar them. Most downloads will have a readme with them, read this and follow the instructions.

After you unziped, the files go into the following folders:

Skins: \football manager 2006\data\skins.

Logos: \Football Manager 2006\data\graphics\pictures\logos

Kits: \Football Manager 2006\data\graphics\pictures\kits

Faces: \Football Manager 2006\data\graphics\pictures\players (may be called something else, I don't use player faces, but it'll be the third folder in pictures)

Browse to data\cache where you installed FM and delete the contents of the cache folder.

When you load up FM, goto the preferences menu, and tick show player pictures and badges\logos in you want them to show. Untick the skin cache, if you want to add more graphics in future.
