Default Changing attribute colours

I´m sorry if this has already been posted here, but I couldn´t find it and the search function isnt working here. I would like to see the attributes the same way I did in FM2005,which is having the higher attributes in red,and lower in green or yellow,I think.Is there anyway of doing it manually,or could some kind soul provide a download? Sorry for hassle,and thanks in advance.

Ok here's how to change the attribute colours:

1. Edit (or download someone else's) fm colours.xml in Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2006\data\settings

2. Uncheck Use Skin Cache in options/preferences in game.

3. Change the skin (to any other skin than the one you're using), then Confirm.

4. Change the skin back to the one you want to use.

5. Re-check the Use Skin Cache box.

6. Your attributes should now show the changes.

You can download attribute colours here:
attribute colours

The readme is in italian, but just follow the instructions above.

Hope this helps

I've managed this bit before now (changing the colours I mean), so I have

Poor = Red
Normal = White
Good = Blue
Excellent = Green

But, how do I change what is good, poor, etc. as in the Player Ratings screen within the match everything from 5-7 is blue, when I think that's normal (rather than good)

I'd have
1-4 = Poor
5-7 = White
8-9 = Blue
10 = Green

Any thoughts on how to change this scale?

I think you need to check on 'threshold' in the following files under panels:<UL TYPE=SQUARE>
<LI>player profile.xml
<LI>player comparison.xml
<LI>non player profile.xml</UL>

In case you're not using the default skin you should check for the same files under the proper skin's folders.

Thanks.

It's really only the Player Ratings screen on the match day I think needs changing, so I'll have a look to see what xml drives that.

Not using the default skin, have edited it to give me the attribute colours, and a couple of wee colour issues I didn't like, so this shouldn't be too hard.

Thanks for the suggestion.
