Hey all.

This is a utility just for you guys.

It's still heavily in beta so if it crashes, don't scratch your head in wonderment. Email me (address in profile) with all the details you can about it.

This utility requires the .net framework 1.1 available from Microsoft.

Features
Two features really...
<LI>The ability to select a skin from a menu and then load up FM with that skin.
<LI>The program will randomly choose a skin from your skins directory and launch FM with the skin (you can decide to cancel it if you don't want a particular skin).

It's so simple I think a 12 year old could do it. Which is why I want some people to test it. There's only so much testing I can do on my own before I have to let someone else try it out.

Potential problem
<LI>This utility requires that the user is running FM from the profile that they installed it from as it pulls the data from the registry (hence why there's no ability to choose the skin location or the FM exe location). This may be sorted in a future version if it becomes apparent that there are a lot of you with this error.

Please please please leave feedback, comments and suggestions (although I don't want to make this utility huge and unwieldy like my other one).

Do not leave comments like:
'This won't work. Wot do I do?'
'This is crap. Get a life.'
'It came up with an error.'

If you're the latter. Give me more info than just that!

BTW: It does not support skins with spaces in at the moment.

So, I see the Skins feature made it thru.
Did you use "dir '%FM_HOME%\data\skins /B /AD" ?
Shouldn't you be working on mcfm ?

Is there a problem with the launcher?

Yes we're working on it. No, I didn't use %FM_HOME%. I used a registry key as I said in my post on the Programmers Oracle!

I may incorporate this function as a failsafe if the first doesn't work.
