I have downloaded a few kit packs but they just don't appear in the game,they are mostly the 2g kits.I have put them in the correct folders but it just ain't happening.

- delete the contents of the data\cache folder.

- Delete the country folder for the kits that come with the game if you don't want them. (i.e. delete the eng/england folder if you have your own english kits). Just deleting the kits doesn't work, you also have to delete the config file, which is now located in the country folder, not the league folder for kits included with the game.
