When Creating Media Sources with the editor you can select to add Kit Sponsors - does this mean that when a club negotiates a new sponsorship deal that the sponsor will appear on the news item in the game?

This has been asked a few times and nobody has ever really found out... I added Nike, adidas, etc. and have never seen them mentioned in any news items.

It would be great though, if you could have sponsors in the game, perhaps in the same way as media: local, national, continental, world etc...

But it should be in a way that you could add more as you played on (if that's ever possible) - so that you could eventually add files found on the web for different countries etc.

Much like media was in an previous version of this game. Was it a text file?

Oh, and I too tried add a few kit sponsors in FM2005, but nothing happened.

for the record, the mac savegame editor allows you to add sponsors which show in-game as seen in this screeny:
