Basically, I want to change the potiential stadium attendance.

If i change the maximum stadium potiential in the editor that comes with the game, will it affect my savegame? If not, what other new editors are there that allow me to change the attendance potiential?

This is because I think it is incredibly harsh to expect me to rule the world with Eastleigh with a maximum of 2300 capacity (with only 175 seated)

FM 2006 editor does not have effect on save game.

There are many save game editors mentioned on Editors Hideaway front page.

You could always edit it in MCFM.

It's a database. What did you expect? A couple of kb's?

Yeah, but my games perfectly fine at the moment so I don't want to make it easier or risk the patch creating bugs as you can't delete patches easily (I think)

I have not noticed any bugs in the latest patch. To get rid of any patch, uninstall the game then re-install it and apply any patches you want to keep. That is not terribly difficult.
