can i use fm scout on my mac? i struggle to play footy manager without it and want to use fm scout on my apple laptop.

I'm not an expert on it by anyone's standards but I think it should as the data is the same. The best way would be to download it and try it.

You can't. The mac does not use executables and would not even be able to read the installer, never mind load the scout.
so, no, the scout does not work on Macs.

No, FM Scout is for PC only.

Sorry about giving you the false hope DANSCHOFIELD, I thought (rightly?, wrongly?) there was a version for fm 2005 so I thought there might be one for 2006.

At the risk of sounding ignorant...does FM scout 06 work fine with the original unpatched version of FM 06?

danschofield - if you want a mac application to go alongside FM, you can download the mac savegame editor. As it is an editor it doesn't operate in the same way as FM Scout but you can browse nations & clubs players & shortlists and see their abilities, so if that is what you are wanting to do - I suggest that.
