Definitely not mid-game.

The best way to train players faster is just to employ better coaches by another cheating method; search for coaches you like the look of and use MCFM06 where you'll need to enter their names and look at their potential & current ability and employ them.

Or, overtrain your players for a few days with the Overall traing bar so some are slightly in the red.

I'm not sure what you meant by changing ball control from 5 to 9 because I'm sure in FM2006 it's not like that anymore. I know you were able to do it in FM2005 but we were forced to change the stats of training because it sucked and wasn't very well implented unlike the FM06 rebuild which it much better to use.

When I looked in my data\training folder there was nothing in it. Is there supppose to be something there? Also the data\db folder has nothing in there mentioning training.
