Hi ive done a search and couldnt find out. I want to put fc united in the conference north i,ll replace them for droylsden can some one please help ive never used the editor before so a idoits guide to how i could do this would be appreciate. thanks

open up notepad and copy the following

Goto save as...

Goto the db folder... usually

CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2006\data\db

and save it as

fcunited.edt

Run the game.

ive done everything you said but it hasnt worked any ideas what i could be doing wrong

go on the editor - make a note of each teams current division, last division and place they finished in and swap them round. Easy!

Thanks for the reply jamie but im a bit of a noob so have no idea how to do that. could the problem be because fc united are a new team so they wont have any league history. thanks again for any help.

have you started a new game, it will work it you have saved it correctly....

just place it into your fm06 db folder, usually...

thanks for your help steven downloaded the file and it works thanks very much for all your help really appreciate it. I noticed your file was saved edt but mine saved just as a normal notepad file so thats why it wasnt working. Thanks again mate.
