one thing has bugged me for years now... please tell me if you have any solution to this.
every time the game comes out we all do some of our own editing and then we play. however, as the year goes on you can't keep up with everything. so, later i might use some nice update by somebody else.
here's my question: is there a way to incorporate MY changes into that new database or update? say i add some media names, then an update comes out by SI in a new patch. what would it take to have a tool that would simply slap the two databases together and allow you to choose which items (player info, team info, media) you want to use from which version.
i am not a wiz on this stuff, just wondering if any of you smart ones have some idea.
thanks.

question for all you edit-meisters out there Post #2
Genie's editor uses something called packages which enables you to export changes you make to a file and when you want to add them to another database, you simply import the package.
So, to answer your question ickle, yes, yes you can do that.
