I remember somebody tried to make a patch for FM2005 that made all players free agents, but it couldn't actually be done. Has anyone tried the same thing with FM2006?

God am just thinkin of the transfer frenzy at the start of the season.

Yeah, that was the original point to this patch. Would make for an interesting novelty game.

I'm guessing alot of the players will join their old clubs again..

and it would be a mission taking every single player in the game away from their club, all 30 thousand or whatever

Well so far I've freed every player from 23 countries in the game:

England, Italy, Spain, Germany, France, Holland, Portugal, Belgium, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Argetina, US, Mexico, Switzerland, Australia, Japan, South Africa, Bulgaria, Chile, Colombia, Israel, Romania

and also all players at playable clubs from another 12 countries:

Scotland, Turkey, Brazil, Greece, Russia, Czech Rep., Austria, South Korea, China, Croatia, Serbia & Montenegro, Ukraine.

Game loads ok and I'm running a holiday game for a bit to see what happens.

Cool, i'd def. be interested in this if someone were to make it. If it wouldnt be too much trouble VillaNZ could you perhaps upload your db when you've freed up all the other players?
