Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Bets way to train a young player with potential to be world class

Please can someone help me to understand this on how to improve a player by training him.

Example i have Bale he is a left back but during traing shall i concentrate on his defensive side of things or improve his attacking?

Which bars would you most concentrate on? which attributes are most important?

Are set pieces and ball control training that important.

And finally can someone show me a schedule for trianing that they have made which works with most players in average.

Cheers

There are are lot of topics about training - I suggest you take a look.

Regarding Bale (Gareth I assume) it would be silly not to let him train set pieces. He is a left back so he needs good crossing and he will become a natural choice for several kinds of set pieces.

A well balanced schedule, without too much shooting for a left back is the obvious choice. I also suggest you find a good tutor for him, to improve the mental attributes he might lack, and perhaps give him some handy PPM's.

If you import them you'll see they turn into several different schedules.

If you can find a tutor he'll work with please let me know. I signed him in my first season at Chelsea and he's rejected everyone I've offered him.

Don't blame him for not wanting to emulate Ashley Cole, but he won't work with Dani Alves or any of the other FBs either. Prefers to develop his own way.
