Sorry if this so simple but i cant get my young players tutored by my old players.i done it once but now i just cant seem to do it.can any one help thanks.
Do you mean how to tutor successfully or how to tutor at all?
If it's the second then choose a promising young player in the team and open their profile. On the left menu click 'player interaction'. Scroll down and you should see their 'linked player'. Sometimes you can choose which player they are linked to via an arrow next to the name. Sometimes it is blank (in which case you can't assign a tutor).
Choose an appropriate player and select a corresponding statement from the player interaction (along the lines of "this player could learn a lot from linked player"). A news item will pop up and several days later each player should inform you that the tutoring process has started. A 'tut' appears to the name of the linked player on team selection screen and 'lrn' is next to the young player.
In terms of being successful it's been hit-and-miss for me but I find it helps if they share a position and personality type (e.g. balanced).
