It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Fitness - what levels do you let your players play at?

Ive always had a largish squads for FM/CM, and for many years my rule of thumb was to always pick a game day line up wih at least 91-92% fitnes ( unless a major game).

I have found that this helps against complaints of jadedness and also my injuries seem to not be as prevalent.

How does everyone else deal with this issue?

To start a game, i guess 90+. In most cases, i'll replace a player if he drops below 80 but if he's a quality player i'll maybe wait till the low 70's.

I'll rest a player at 94% unless I don't have a decent replacement, or he's a top player and it's a big game.

Never below 90, if possible 95+. I substitute them when they are on 70.

You will be safe picking players down to 85%. On older versions of the game it was around the 90% mark, however that changed for FM06 and a player can easily play while he is 85% and still play all the 90 minutes.

yeh you have a point, a player whos saverly lacking match fitness is around 80% mark.

But i wouldnt keep using a player whos got less then 93%.. if he cant pick up fitness then somthing is wrong.
